Optum is hiring for the role of Data Analyst 2!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Collect, clean, and analyze data from various sources
• Design and maintain data pipelines to ensure data quality and integrity
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards in excel and Power BI
• Utilize SQL and Python and PySpark for data manipulation and analysis
• Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data sets
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data solutions
• Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders through reports and presentations
• Develop and implement predictive models using machine learning techniques
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regard to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in data science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Data Scientist/Analyst or similar role
• Experience with data pipeline design and implementation
• Proficiency in SQL, Excel, Power BI, Python and PySpark
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proven excellent communication and teamwork abilities
