Data Analyst Job in Hyderabad at Micron

Micron is hiring for the role of Data Analyst!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Collect data from various sources, such as databases, web analytics, surveys, etc., and analyze data using statistical techniques and tools, such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, etc.
• Perform data analysis using SAP tools and systems (SAP Hana Studio, SAP ECC, Microsoft SQL Server, etc).
• Create and maintain SharePoint lists to store and manage data.
• Perform data analytics and data transformation tasks using SQL, Python, Excel, or other tools.
• Identify patterns, trends, and insights in complex data sets and report results and findings to the relevant stakeholders using visual dashboards.
• Collaborate closely with team to understand reporting and data visualization needs, and iteratively improve available analytics.
• Understand and work with the processes and reporting standards for handling data, visuals, and reports within the team.

Requirements:

• Skilled in analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and high comfort in working with numbers
• A strong communicator, able to explain ideas or concepts in a structured, clear manner.
• Cooperative and encouraging with a positive attitude that is well-suited for working across different regions
• A quick learner able to ingest new business acumen and data fluency, and then leverage insights to make a data-driven decision
• Process-oriented in data mapping and process documenting, clearly outlining the goals, involved parties, and activities of a process or business function
• Agile in adopting new tools and ways of working towards continuous improvement to better business outcomes
• Curious to explore solutions to business goals, opportunities and improvements to existing processes, and innovations to existing processes
• Highly collaborative and take an inclusive approach across geographical and organizational cultures to achieve mutual success for Micron
• A self-motivated, driven individual who is comfortable working in a global, fast-paced, and dynamic environment
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Statistics, Engineering, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, or related field of study (equivalent experience considered)
• 2+ years of experience as a data analyst or similar role
• Proficient in SharePoint list management and in writing optimized SQL queries
• Experience in Data Visualization tools and libraries like Tableau, and Power BI would be advantageous
• Experience in Python would be advantageous
