• Assist in the design, testing, and implementation of n
• Utilize the product operating model to assist in the SOAR development lifecycle, supporting security operations and incident response (IR) teams.
• Contribute to the development of SOAR playbooks and logic flows, ensuring that automated workflows align with security requirements and operational needs.
• Write, test, and upkeep automation scripts and workflows within the SOAR platform, efficiently streamlining and automating security processes.
• Create and maintain documentation for integrations, workflows, playbooks, and other automation capabilities, ensuring knowledge sharing within the cyber defense team.
• Collaborate in designing, implementing, standardizing, and maintaining efficient and reusable Python code, or other programming languages as required, for automation solutions.
• Participate in the review, testing, debugging, and resolution of code issues at all stages of the SOAR Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring the reliability and effectiveness of automation processes.
• Help translate conceptual IR requests into integration requirements for development in the SOAR platform.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in cybersecurity with a strong emphasis on programming/automation, SOAR, and cloud security.
• Proficiency in programming languages - Python (Required), Django (Preferred), Powershell (Optional), and JavaScript (Optional).
• Having at least one year of recent experience as a SOC Analyst (Monitoring or Response) is advantageous.
• Relevant certifications, such as GPYC, CISSP, Security+, Cloud, etc., are a plus.
• Basic understanding of cloud security principles.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills to collaborate with different teams and present automation solutions.
• Candidates should demonstrate a passion for information security through completed coursework, degrees, self-study, and/or certifications.
