GE Vernova is hiring for the role of Customer Support Engineer Specialist!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

  • Research and troubleshoot issues involving all aspects of the GE Digital solutions, including but not limited to configuration, user interface, network and communication connectivity and performance, Cloud and on-premise component interoperability, data collection/storage, visualization, analytics, machine monitoring software and associated control systems, hardware infrastructure, and interfaces to enterprise systems such as ERP, PLM, and Quality.
  • Develop conceptual knowledge of the professional discipline. May include support roles with specialized expertise or technical knowledge in a broad area.
  • Apply general knowledge of business developed through education or past experience. Understands how the work of one's own team contributes to the area.
  • Resolve issues using established procedures.
  • Consult supervisor or more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
  • Collaborate with others to solve issues. For customer-facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE.
  • Exchange technical information, ask questions, and check for understanding.

Requirements:

  • For roles outside of the USA- This role requires basic experience in the Services & Customer Support Engineering. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience).

Preferred:

  • Good understanding of SQL, Oracle, Linux, and POA technology
  • Has worked as L1/L2 support and has experience in system troubleshooting
  • Understands Data flow/ FEP/SCADA/NMS/ICCP and OMS too
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
