Ameriprise is hiring for the role of Customer Service Specialist!

Responsibilities of the Candidate: 

• Serve as the first point of contact for service issues, troubleshooting, and entering complex service requests into appropriate systems for resolution
• Educate clients and advisors on newly implemented services, systems, or procedures to promote efficient self-service
• Process complex service transactions and resolve account service casework initiated via web or paper forms using internal computer applications, ensuring timely completion to meet/exceed service goals
• Interact directly with customers through inbound/outbound calls to provide accurate and immediate solutions to transaction and service requests; accurately record information in relevant systems
• Participate in team meetings, huddles, and brainstorming sessions to discuss process updates, address operational issues, and identify opportunities for process improvement

Requirements: 

• Graduate or Post-Graduate in Finance, Commerce, Business Management, or Operations discipline
• 1–3 years of relevant work experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to explain complex policies or concepts clearly and within tight deadlines
• Excellent customer service skills
• Skilled in simplifying and communicating complex information in an easy-to-understand manner
