TATA Communications Limited is hiring for the role of Customer Service Executive!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

  • Support fiber network planning and design activities.
  • Update GIS systems with accurate As-built documents received from the field.
  • Coordinate with on-shore field engineers and suppliers to ensure timely completion of assigned work.
  • Maintain 100% SLA and First Time Right (FTR) targets.
  • Ensure data security and accuracy for both internal and customer records.
  • Actively participate in customer and internal meetings.
  • Possess strong understanding of telecom network architecture and its components.
  • Demonstrate detailed knowledge of Optical Fiber Networks and GIS tools such as AutoCAD and Smallworld.
  • Handle fiber planning, designing, As-builts, quantity surveying, and supplier management efficiently.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills to coordinate with on-shore and off-shore stakeholders.
  • Manage new builds, customer connections, network upgrades, diversionary works, and customized fiber solutions.
  • Drive continuous improvement in cost efficiency, timelines, and quality of deliverables.
  • Produce detailed, industry-standard documentation such as HLD (High-Level Design), LLD (Low-Level Design), and As-built reports for Inventory Management Systems.
  • Possess sound understanding of fiber construction standards and costing practices in the telecommunications industry.

Requirements:

  • Must have strong skills in defining, evaluating, solving, and presenting alternatives to complex engineering problems.
  • Ability to apply engineering and economic principles while conducting studies and surveys to analyze technical systems or designs.
  • Proficient in using tools and applications such as:
    - Smallworld – PNI & NIG
    - GSSA Standard
    - COPS / Mori / Cramer
    - SOM / CPS
    - MapAll
    - BTOR Portal
