Ultimez Technology is hiring for the role of Crypto News Editor!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Perform research and write factual news stories, re-write copy, and develop a crisp news story.
• The key objective is to gather information, edit news pieces, and present the news in an honest and balanced manner.
• Proofread, re-structure and edit articles by content writers.
• Collect, verify and analyze thoroughly newsworthy information.
• Assemble the findings into a stable story, conducting research to uncover interesting and significant news.
• Strong interest in Cryptocurrency and Blockchain domain.
• Check various sources for interesting news we should cover.
• Perform research information for story development and monitor and Guide the news writers on how to approach certain stories.
• Monitor all the feeds to gather the latest breaking news for writing news for publication.
• Perform copy editing of scripts for accuracy, factual content and correct language.
• Write/ Edit and deliver news stories with the reader's perspective in mind and company standards.
• Abide by journalism’s ethics and codes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in journalism, communications, English or relevant field.
• Proven work experience as a Journalist for 2 or more years.
• Strong writing and proofreading skills.
• Experience with content management systems.
• Capable of maintaining an ethical & objective standard in reporting.
• Ability to meet deadlines and accurately fact-check information.
• Excellent communication and networking skills, along with an aptitude to effectively extract information.
• You should be a meticulous editor with an eye for details.
• Current knowledge of headlines, good observation and deduction skills.
• Demonstrate problem-solving skills to find solutions and work with the team members to identify a way around the problem.
• Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems.
