Cryogenic Modeling & Simulation Engineer Job in Bangalore at Airbus

Airbus is hiring for the role of Cryogenic Modeling & Simulation Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Design the hydrogen systems and their related cryogenic and non-cryogenic components such as pumps, valves, or heat exchangers with a focus on performance
• Identify component requirements and core parameters based on the system architecture through simulation tasks
• Drive simulation topics on the system level to investigate performance behavior
• Contribute to the verification strategy by defining system and component-level tests

Requirement:

• Experience in cryogenic applications, if possible H2 & N2
• Good knowledge of typical system engineering simulation tools & languages: Python scripts for sizing - 0D/1D, Python script for data pre-post processing, AMEsim (dynamic studies) - 0D/1D, Matlab & Dymola, Capable of customizing library for H2 systems and components
• Aware of world standard interface between models like FMI standard or dedicated interface from Matlab & Dymola
• Good knowledge of other tools for specific tasks (e.g. CFTurbo, CFD tools like StarCCM+ or Elemental & 3D CFD modelization of tank sloshing)
• Good knowledge of 1D tools for phase change phenomena and thermodynamics in general
• Good knowledge of system controls (development & validation)
