PayU is hiring for the role of Credit Underwriter - Unsecured Business Loans!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Develop the Credit Delivery Process, Verification and Early warning system for the MSME segment by leveraging the Internal digital capabilities & FinTech ecosystem.
- Ensure adherence to Credit Policy and delegation of authorities.
- Have a sound knowledge of the lending practice and associated risk for the MSME segment in the Indian market across multiple geographies.
- Have a working knowledge of the general legal and compliance framework for the Indian market.
- Provide feedback for Credit Policy and Portfolio Monitoring.
Requirements:
- Chartered Accountant / MBA / PGDBA with 2-4 years experience in Retail MSME Risk Experience in the Bank / NBFC industry
- Credit Professional with rich experience in MSME Unsecured Loan Underwriting & Managing Risk Processes for Retail MSME segment across sectors and products
- Prior experience in the Credit approval process for Digital MSME Loans, Transaction data / Alternate data-based Credit Models and Fintech partnerships is necessary
- Implementation of Credit Score Model
- Proficiency in managing Retail MSME credit risk
- Strategic thinking
- Excellent communicator
- Relationship management
- Negotiation and influencing
