The Walt Disney Company is hiring for the role of Credit Analyst!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Conduct due diligence of companies for new credit requests, sales orders, and company policy-mandated reviews.
• Perform internet research and analyze financial statements in support of credit reviews.
• Prepare and issue credit risk assessments and make recommendations.
• When needed, meet with customers, Disney businesses, and stakeholders to discuss risk mitigation that could include Letters of Credit, guarantees, securitization and/or deal and payment structure, and Sales and Alliance contracts.
• Prepare and communicate credit recommendations and pull reports from service providers.
• Manage expectations and maintain clear communication with internal and external stakeholders in a high email volume environment.
• Oversee Disney portfolios and issues credit alerts, when necessary
• Act as a liaison between our internal support teams and our business partners to ensure timely issue resolution and Master Data Management with accuracy.

Requirements:

• Relevant educational background or equivalent work experience in credit analysis.
• Proficiency in financial statement analysis and risk assessment.
• Strong communication skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to conduct internet research and gather relevant information.
• Experience in managing data integrity in CRM systems.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with various risk mitigation strategies and financial instruments.
• Ability to manage and communicate in a high email volume environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Knowledge of Master Data Management principles and practices.
• Previous experience in overseeing portfolios and issuing credit alerts is a plus.
• Familiarity with Sales and Alliance contracts and their impact on credit decisions.
• Understanding of Letters of Credit, guarantees, and securitization in a credit context.
• Proficiency in data analysis, data integration, and troubleshooting data errors.
• Ability to act as a liaison between internal support teams and business partners.
• Adherence to high standards of accuracy and attention to detail in credit assessments.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing business requirements and expectations.
