CPU Engineer Job in Noida at Samsung

Samsung is hiring for the role of CPU Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidates:

• Develop SoC software for RISC-V architecture.
• Analyze CPU instructions and memory footprint for performance optimization.
• Perform transactional-level verification of CPU and system performance.
• Ensure proper functionality of VD products on the RISC-V platform.
• Solve problems related to CPU structural differences.
• Conduct performance analysis and compare with ARM-based SoC.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or Computer Science is required.
• 2+ Years of hands-on experience with RISC-V architecture, design, and system design (working with both software and hardware).
• In-depth knowledge of modern CPU/DSP architectures (SIMD/VLIW/Superscalar).
• Expertise in the instruction set architectures, especially vector extensions. (ARM/Neon, x86/AVX, RISC-V/P&V, etc.)
• Understanding of AI/ML software and hardware architectures.
• Familiarity with common embedded OSes (Linux, RTOS).
• Proficiency in compilers (LLVM, TVM, GLOW).
• Experience with EDA tools and design flows.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Deep understanding of system software and tools like ARM DS-5.
