Mouser Electronics is hiring for the role of Costing Representative I!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Formatting vendor price lists for entry into Mouser systems.
• Reviewing vendor price lists and identifying information pertinent to product investment, pricing, lifecycle, etc.
• Analyzing vendor price lists and the differences between new data and the existing system data.
• Preparing vendor price list data to update corresponding records in the system.
• Performing part builds for suppliers wherein there are no Mouser part numbers in the system.
• Communicating, professionally and effectively, with all levels of the organization internally and with external customers.
• Understanding Cost Updates processes and guidelines.
• Receiving and formatting vendor price lists for entry into Mouser systems.
• Reviewing vendor price lists and identifying information pertinent to product investment, pricing, lifecycle, etc.
• Performing analysis of vendor price lists and the differences between new data and the existing system data
• Preparing vendor price list data to update corresponding records in the system
• Performing data entry using various computer programs, spreadsheet or database commands and format material as required.
• Communicating, professionally and effectively, with all levels of the organization internally and with external customers.

Requirements:

• Possess strong attention to detail skills with the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Ability to multi-task, type data for long periods
• Effective time management
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Able to use, read, and interpret spreadsheets, printed reports, and terminal screens.
• PC experience in a Microsoft Windows environment; proficient with Internet, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook and other software
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Skill evaluation: Math 90%, Spelling 90%, Advanced Excel 70%, Typing 40 WPM
• Requires a Degree in BBA/BBM/BCom or any equivalent discipline.
• Fresher or a min of 1 year previous experience in Pricing/Costing.
