Builder.ai is hiring for the role of Corporate Travel Manager!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Travel Operations Optimization: Strategically optimize the company's travel operations to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Budget Management: Prepare and manage budget reports for all travel-related expenses, ensuring compliance with the allocated budget.
- Visa Management: Take ownership of visa management, including processing and compliance with visa requirements in various geographies.
- Travel Arrangements: Make and provide guidance on travel arrangements for employees, considering cost-efficiency and quality of travel.
- Policy and Procedure Management: Maintain and update company travel policies and procedures to align with business needs and industry standards.
- Travel Authorization: Manage travel authorization processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and requirements.
- Knowledge of Travel Management: Possess a strong working knowledge of travel management processes and industry best practices.
- Visa Processing: Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of visa processing guidelines and requirements across different countries and regions.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in tourism, travel, or hospitality is required for corporate travel managers
- Knowledge of travel management processes
- Knowledge of Visa management processes
- Established relationships with Embassies
- The ability to build and maintain positive relationships with vendors of direct travel (existing relationships may be advantageous)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
- Has managed travel for a company of 1500-2500 people
- A basic understanding of Geography
- Proven experience as a corporate travel manager
- Knowledge of international travel regulations, customs, and currencies
- Knowledge of T&E reporting and processing
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and negotiation skills
- Well-organized and reliable
- An analytical mind with strong business acumen with a customer-oriented approach
- Training in travel and tourism is a plus
