Conversion Engineer Job in Kolkata at Hyland

Hyland is hiring for the role of Conversion Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Implement solutions required for the conversion and/or migration project using existing tool kits available, as assigned
• Work with project team to discover and document the customer's conversion environment and ensure it is prepared for conversion and/or migration
• Install and configure conversion and/or migration tools in preparation of the project
• Identify technical issues impacting conversion and/or migrations; work collaboratively with internal and external resources to resolve issues
• Test solution to verify it meets the technical specifications and is working as intended before submitting to solution review
• Follow and contribute to existing standards and processes regarding technical information gathered while performing services

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• Technical experience with data and/or file analysis
• Understanding of relational databases and industry-recognized concepts pertaining to SQL Server and/or Oracle database management systems
• Preferred SQL Server Performance tuning
• Preferred SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) PowerShell
• Preferred TL and ETL experience
• Nice to have ECM knowledge
• Nice to have conversion experience even among other ECM products.
• Experience developing solutions using core migration technologies
• Microsoft Windows and Office proficiency
• Oral and written communications skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact
• Collaboration skills, applied successfully within team
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage projects in a timely manner
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

• Read and write software documentation from a configuration or user interaction perspective
• Up to 10% travel time required
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the principal duties of the job
