Controllership Analyst Job in Gurgaon at Ameriprise India LLP

Ameriprise India is hiring for the role of Controllership  Analyst!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Calculation of revenues within the Billing / Accounts Receivable system. Analysis to be performed to ensure the movement in revenue is consistent with calculation drivers (e.g. financial market movements).
• Monitoring cash receipt reports to identify Revenue related items in order to match and prepare journal entries against outstanding invoices.
• Liaising with other teams as appropriate.
• Journal entries preparation and posting to the Workday Financial application.
• Involvement in projects as appropriate.

Requirements:

• Accounting qualification.
• Good understanding of accounting concepts
• Good Communication skills
• Proficient with Excel functions (Xlookup, If, Sumifs etc)
• Ability to be accurate and good attention to detail
• Dynamic
• Reliable (Instills trust)
• Team player 
• Knowledge of reconciliations and ability to do them
• Previous experience and/or keen interest in the Asset Management industry.
• Previous work experience in a Finance and/or financial services role
• Knowledge of Workday, Report systems
• Good organization skills – i.e. time management, ability to follow and write process documents
• Good problem solving skills
• Experience of working with databases, SQL, QlikView and business objects.
