Goldman Sachs is hiring for the role of Controller Associate Pipeline!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Managing and overseeing financial reporting processes and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Participating in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and regulatory filings.
- Collaborating with various teams to gather and analyze financial data for accurate reporting.
- Supporting the implementation and enhancement of internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial information.
- Conducting regular reconciliations and reviews of financial transactions to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Assisting in the coordination of audits and examinations by internal and external parties.
- Contributing to the development and improvement of financial processes and systems.
- Providing financial analysis and insights to support decision-making and strategic initiatives.
- Staying informed about changes in accounting standards and regulations and ensuring timely implementation of relevant updates.
- Assisting in the development and maintenance of financial models and forecasts.
- Responding to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders regarding financial data and reports.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams on special projects and initiatives as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) is a plus.
- Prior experience in financial reporting, accounting, or a related role.
- Knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software/tools.
- Familiarity with financial systems and databases.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Willingness to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
