Responsibilities of the candidate:

• Prepare basic complexity 2D Computer Aided Design (CAD) drawings.
• Provide close interface with other discipline functions to ensure integration and quality.
• Adhere to industry codes, standards, and departmental practices and procedures.
• Plan, organize, and carry out assignments as directed by the Design Area Lead or Lead.

Requirements:

• A combination of education and directly related experience equal to zero (0) years; some locations may have additional qualifications.
• Effective communication skills for interaction with management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.
• Job-related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job tasks.
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.
• Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under time constraints.
• Basic knowledge of 2D CAD systems and procedures.
• Understanding of the commercial availability and cost of materials.
• Practical field experience is a plus.
• Basic computer skills, including word processing, email, spreadsheets, and electronic presentation software.
