Contracts Analyst Job in Mumbai at Trafigura

Trafigura is hiring for the role of Contracts Analyst!

Responsibilities of The Candidate:

• Evaluate commercial, operational, and legal risks associated with sale/purchase transactions, promptly communicating findings to relevant departments.
• Collaborate closely with other departments to discuss and finalize the company's contractual position.
• Issue final contracts, termination agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, and amendments after compiling input from key departments.
• Engage with stakeholders to achieve mutually acceptable contractual positions.
• Provide advisory support, suggesting ways for traders to mitigate key risks and highlighting exceptions to management.
• Ensure timely filing of contracts, amendments, and communications on the in-house database management software.
• Adhere strictly to Trafigura's policies and codes, ensuring compliance at all stages.

Requirements:

• Hold a degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Law, or an equivalent qualification with impressive academic credentials.
• Possess strong communication skills for effective interaction within the team and stakeholders.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, fostering effective collaboration.
• Capable of meeting deadlines with an accurate and efficient working style, displaying high attention to detail.
• Proficient in computer literacy, including MS Word, MS Excel, and Outlook.
• Adaptive to change, displaying flexibility in response to evolving work requirements.
• Exhibit a self-starter and proactive attitude toward work responsibilities.
• Fluent in English, with knowledge of the French language considered advantageous.
• Willingness to work in flexible time zones as required.
• Thorough knowledge of international commercial terms, including Incoterms 2000, 2010, and 2020.
