Roles & Responsibilities:

• We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Writer & Content Strategist to join our software company
• In this role, you will be responsible for creating clear and concise technical documentation, user manuals, and other written materials to support our software products
• Additionally, you will play a vital role in developing and executing content strategies to enhance our brand, engage our target audience, and drive customer success
• Produce accurate and easy-to-understand user manuals, installation guides, API documentation, release notes, and other technical materials for our software products.
• Work closely with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to gather information and ensure technical accuracy in the documentation.
• Translate technical concepts into clear and concise language that is accessible to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Gather and analyze information from various sources, including product specifications, technical specifications, and interviews with subject matter experts, to ensure accurate and up-to-date content.
• Work closely with the marketing team to develop content strategies that align with our brand and business objectives. This includes creating engaging blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, and other content to attract and educate our target audience.
• Apply SEO best practices to improve the discoverability and visibility of our content in search engines.
• Partner with product managers, designers, and developers to ensure that the content aligns with the product vision and user experience.
• Proofread and edit content for grammar, clarity, and consistency, ensuring that it adheres to company style guidelines.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in technical writing and content strategy.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated ability to write clear, concise, and grammatically correct content. Strong attention to detail is a must.
• Proficiency in understanding complex technical concepts and the ability to effectively communicate them to a wide range of audiences.
• Experience in developing and executing content strategies across various channels, including web, social media, and email marketing.
• Knowledge of software development methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum, and the ability to work closely with developers and engineers.
• Understanding of SEO best practices and the ability to optimize content for search engines.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, marketers, and product managers.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and able to quickly grasp new technologies and concepts.
• Degree in English, Technical Writing, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
