Content Developer Job in Chennai at Gen

Gen is hiring for the role of Content Developer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Develop online, customer-facing product content in English and other international languages.
• Work with Product Management, Development, and Test teams to understand the domain, products, and functionality, and develop excellent walk-through guides and product and feature documents.
• Must collaborate with the localization team, linguists, and global teams in all locations at different time zones to ensure adherence to the processes and styles.
• Manage a high volume of content updates and identify opportunities to improve and optimize
• Collaborate with other senior technical writers to iterate on and deliver projects.

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of experience working in an Information Development department or similar environment.
• Excellent writing and technical skills in developing linear and non-linear user assistance for multiple media.
• Excellent skills in print and online authoring tools and content Management systems are desirable (AEM is a plus).
• Excellent in User Interface (UI) standards for supported platforms.
• Solid knowledge of how information development fits into the product lifecycle.
• Solid knowledge of emerging trends in the content development profession.
• Experience in project tracking and project management.
