Consultant - Testing (JAVA) Job in Pune at Worldline India

Worldline is hiring for the role of Consultant - Testing (JAVA)!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Read, analyze, and review all the project documents
• Interpret technical specifications and protocols
• Create  test-scripts
• Execute the test scenarios and analyze test results
• Ensure the quality of applications
• Undertake the close follow-up of the correction of the defects
• Collaborate with development teams, sometimes in an international context
• Participate in document and peer reviews
• Provide opportune progress status reports to the Manager and counterpart
• Assist the Test Manager with test closure reports and gaining sign-off from key stakeholders.
• Take responsibility for being persistent in the achievement of assigned goals, maintaining focus during stressful periods or when deadlines are short, and acts as a role model.

Requirements:

• Higher education in information technology and/or experience of 2-3 years in software development and testing
• Outstanding creativity and innovation skills
• Analysis and integration skills
• Autonomy and ability to learn and adapt
• Good communication skills (spoken and written)
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Perseverance and ability to cooperate – team work
• Good experience in Manual testing with experience on JAVA (mandatory)
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux
• Knowledge of SQL and Oracle
• Payment domain experience
• ISTQB Certified
• Knowledge of Iliad t3 is a plus
• Knowledge of SOA is a plus
• Knowledge of the programming language Python is a plus
• Knowledge of HP ALM is a plus
• Knowledge of QuickTestPro is a plus
