HSBC is hiring for the role of Consultant Specialist!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Administer MFT infrastructure, activities include onboarding/demising partners, monitoring health of application servers, deploying applications on servers, performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Work in rotating shifts and provide out of hours support on rotation basis to support the services.
• Share technical knowledge and skills with members to perform tasks as expected.
• Meet the delivery standards as per the agreement that includes quality of deliverables, appropriate documentation.
• Participate in all technical tasks defined for the team.
• Participate in POCs and other technical initiatives.
• Be aware of the ongoing infrastructure issues and vigilant to avoid / minimize downtime of services.
• Understand business, environments, shared services to prioritize incidents.
• Apply performance monitoring / tuning methodologies to investigate issues.
• Support the security audit remediation and related testing
• Meet the delivery standards as per the agreement that includes quality of deliverables, documentation.
• Provide timely reports.

Requirements: 

• IBM Sterling File Gateway (Sterling Integrator) Installation, Configuration and Operation
• IBM Sterling Connect:Direct (Unix / Windows) Installation, Configuration and Operation
• IBM Sterling External Authentication Server Configuration and Operation
• IBM Sterling Secure Proxy Configuration and Operation
• IBM Sterling Control Center Configuration and Operation
• OpenSSH Installation, Configuration and Operation
• Excellent general knowledge of file transfer protocols (e.g. sFTP, FTPS, C:D, AS2, HTTPS) and products
• Windows and Linux system administration
• Knowledge of cryptography / key management (SSL/TLS, SSH, PGP/GPG etc.) and data security
• Wide experience of operational management of systems
• Leading and delivering change to processes and systems

A strong level of IT literacy, including a broad knowledge of IT infrastructure (operating systems, networking, security).
