Grand Thornton is hiring for the position of Consultant - Public Sector

Responsibilities of Candidate:

• Micro and macro level assessment of the commodity-specific value chain (Agriculture, Horticulture, Livestock, Handloom, Handicraft)
• Converging with various state and central Govt. schemes for the double the income of the beneficiaries
• Drafting FPO-specific value addition and processing business plans
• Developing and implementing marketing strategy based on the analysis of the forward and backward integration plans for the value chains under focus of the concerned SHG members
• Facilitating capacity building of the producers and building their primary value-addition capacities to enhance their livelihood income.
• Conducting baseline surveys for assessment of women SHG members aimed at structuring of functional FPOs
• Identification and training of community resource persons and book-keepers
• Undertaking the process of documentation and database compilation for all necessary legal and formal requirements towards the formation of the FPO
