Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards and interactive visualizations using advanced Power BI features such as DAX expressions and calculations.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translate them into data models, and create effective data visualizations that provide actionable insights.
• Utilize SQL for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes, utilizing Query Editor to clean and shape data for optimal performance and accuracy.
• Perform in-depth data analysis using advanced analytical techniques, developing complex DAX formulas and measures to support decision-making and business strategies.
• Identify and resolve data quality issues, troubleshoot data-related problems, and optimize query performance for efficient data retrieval and processing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including database administrators and data engineers, to understand business needs and provide technical solutions leveraging Power BI, SQL, and optimization techniques.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in Power BI development, including performance optimization, data modelling, and visualization techniques.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Immediate Joiner: 15-30 days
• Proven experience as a Power BI Developer, with a strong understanding of the Power BI toolset, including advanced features like DAX expressions and calculations
• Proficient in SQL programming for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis, with expertise in Query Editor for data cleaning and shaping
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable insights using DAX and advanced data modelling techniques
• Solid understanding of data visualization concepts and experience creating visually appealing and interactive dashboards
• Experience with business analysis techniques and tools, leveraging Power BI for data-driven decision-making
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with other business intelligence tools and technologies is a plus
