Genpact is hiring for the role of Consultant- Java Developer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Providing Enhancement & Development services in a Backend/Database environment.    
• Creating, testing, and maintaining Java applications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust software solutions.  
• Write clean, well-designed, and testable code, following coding standards and guidelines.  
• Executing full lifecycle software development 
• Deploying programs and evaluating user feedback. 
• Complying with project plans and industry standards. 
• Troubleshooting and debugging complex issues and implementing effective solutions in a timely manner.  

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Java programming language and a basic understanding of Python and scripting language are a value-added.  
• Knowledge of various databases like DB2, oracle, and No Sql family.  
• Experience in Microservices architecture, spring family, and ability to write Junit.  
• Understanding Agile development methodologies, principles, and best engineering practices is a value-added.  
• Experience in Dev Ops and release management process.  
• Proven ability to work independently and take ownership of projects from inception to completion. 
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.  
• Knowledge of the financial industry is desirable but not essential.
• Bachelors/master’s in computer science, Computer Engineering, or a similar field of study.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good problem-solving skills.
