Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade is hiring for the role of Consultant!

Responsibilities of the Candidates:

• Evaluating and preparing reports and briefs pertaining to regulatory codes and standards for the Green Hydrogen Sector in India.
• Gathering market intelligence, and key information on most recent developments on various codes and standards across the renewable energy industry.
• Communicating with the relevant ministries, government authorities, and agencies on policy matters.
• Maintaining effective relationships with relevant. government bodies, agencies, and institutions at the central and state levels and specific to Renewable Energy, Green Hydrogen, and Green Ammonia.
• Representing DPIIT and its position in terms of policy advocacy at various forums where regulatory bodies seek inputs from stakeholders.

Requirements:

• At least 3-5 years of full-time work experience at a leading Corporate/Consulting firm
• Candidates with an Engineering Background would be preferred – (Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical)
• Experience in Renewable Energy/Green Hydrogen sector is required
• Knowledge of Public Private Partnerships and policies in India and globally
• Ability to work in teams and independently take responsibility of key deliverables and projects
• Strong Communication, Research and Analytical skills
• Experience in formulation/evaluation of Codes and Standards in Energy sector would be preferred.
