AFRY is hiring for the role of Consultant!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Looking for future leaders in Indian Power Markets.
- Positions available for freshers and candidates experienced in Indian Power Markets.
- Paid internships are also available.
- Clear thinking, excellent writing, and good presentation skills are mandatory
- Knowledge of Power System Models (commercial/open source/bespoke) will be preferred
- Consulting Industry (Mercados/Big 4/IDAM/Feedback/ICF/CES/Energy Exemplar) experience is preferred.
- Industry candidates with Market Analysis, Strategy, M&A or Risk Management experience will be preferred.
- Think Tank Experience (Prayas/BTI/CSEP/CPI/CPR/CEEW) with high-quality publications/impactful research and referrals would also be considered
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or Post-Graduate degree in Economics or Mathematics or Statistics or Operations Research from reputed institutions
- Graduate/Post graduate degree from vintage IITs/NITs, ISI, Reputed Colleges and Universities will be preferred
- PhD Candidates with relevant research experience (Power Market Modelling/other statistical or empirical research related to power markets) will also be considered
- Candidates clearing UPSC CSE Mains with an electrical engineering background are encouraged to apply
