Hero Moto Corp is hiring for the role of Connectivity Test Engineer - VE!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• To Test Telematics and Connectivity Solutions, including, Firmware, Cloud Communication, Analytics and Mobile Application solutions.
• Test the Design and report faults/bugs in System Solution and Devices.
• Work with CFT and make the required Test menus and Test Cases applicable for the testing of the complete end-to-end System.
• Test and Report the correctness of Algorithms implemented both at the Cloud and Device level for various Use Cases and Data Analytics Requirements.
• Confirm and meet the test plan as per the vehicle project target through continuous interaction with HW Architect/firmware/Integration teams.

Requirements:

• B.Tech in Embedded Electronics/Communications or Computer Science. Advanced Qualifications are an advantage
• Expertise and Sound Knowledge of Testing Skills required for Embedded and IoT Products
• Should have in-depth knowledge and experience in integrating and testing Telematics and IoT systems
• Sound knowledge of System Engineering, System Level Understanding and Ability to Finalise Test Menu/Cases based on Use Cases requirements and finalise test methodology
• Knowledge of Global Requirements for Connected Products and Cybersecurity requirements
• Knowledge of Telematics Protocols MQTT
• Knowledge of Handling the Connection Management, Database Handler, Strong testing & debugging skills Black Box & White Box - System & Unit Level
• Understanding of Automotive Standards & Functional Safety. E.g. ISO 26262 as well as safety and Cybersecurity requirements ISO/SAE 21434, SAE J 3061 or similar and deployment
• Hands-on Experience in testing communication networks GSM, GPRS, TCP/IP, and UDP Bluetooth classic and BLE Navigation systems and functions
• Knowledge of Communication Protocols I2C, SPI, CAN, LIN
• Knowledge of the development of testing infrastructure and capability for connectivity products
