CGI is hiring for the role of Computer Science: Freshers!

Requirements:

• Perform 1st-level hardware diagnostics and installation of layered products where needed
• 0to 1 years of experience in remote infrastructure management
• Knowledge of virtualization products and functionalities
• Should possess knowledge of security patching procedures
• Responsible for SLA compliance
• Communicate effectively (verbal and written) and clearly within the team and with all the stakeholders
• Basic knowledge of ITIL process
• Install and set up Linux systems and servers, often for organization-wide deployment
• Configure specific applications in concordance with run book requirements
• Perform routine system maintenance and resolve server-side issues as they arise
• Perform OS and application upgrades and server migrations to a new environment
• Maintain security and OS patch management for Linux-based systems
• Install and maintain agents on servers for centralized monitoring and management
• Experience with Ansible or similar tools is desired
• Manage and maintain currently supported and subsequent Linux Operating Systems (OS) in physical and virtual operating environments
• Utilize Linux scripting (Bourne, PERL, BASH, PowerShell, etc.) to optimize and automate system administrator tasks
• Perform hardware and software technology refreshes, ensuring milestone compliance while coordinating with MPs to minimize disruptions on the L1 Level
• Flexible to work on 24/7 rotational shifts
