Compositional Modeler Job in Bangalore at ExxonMobil

ExxonMobil is hiring for the role of Compositional Modeler!

Responsibilities of the Candidates:

• Understand & able to troubleshoot currently developed proprietary kinetic & compositional models.
• Collaborate with the Process Research Team to develop new kinetic & composition models, including designing experiments and analysis of experimental data.
• Provide technical leadership through technical training, work process reviews, and best practice implementations
• Identify opportunities to improve models to capture processes better or improve the performance of models
• Provide direction to Raw material Characterization on parameters of interest in better modeling properties & kinetics
• The position could require 5-10% travel (domestic and international).

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Science or Engineering discipline or relevant e.g. Chemical Engineering or Chemistry with a minimum GPA score of 7.0 & Above.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Must be familiar with kinetic modeling & reaction networks.
• Strong background in programming, and data analytics, and ability to learn a new programming language.
