Overview of the Role:

As we embark on this newest venture, we are going to be investing heavily into creating an unparalleled community experience. We’re seeking an enthusiastic Community Manager who is passionate about building something unique. To give a brief, we’ll be building courses around Content Creation (Editing, Writing, Speaking in front of the camera) and have a community of learners. You’ll be moderating Discord sessions, WhatsApp groups, and overall engagement on other platforms as well. If you love interacting with people, care for them, are driven, motivated, a standout player, and want to add value to people’s lives - this is the place for you!

What you’ll be doing:

● You will build social media communities and a solid online presence of Brightso

● Cultivate, moderate and manage the community through Discord channels and WhatsApp

● Be the Brand’s voice for all communications on Discord

● Plan, manage, and conduct engagement activities and classes

● Manage WhatsApp campaigns, and regular correspondence - make people feel connected to the community

● Develop community guidelines and moderation strategy to ensure community channels remain fun and respectful

Candidate Profile:

● Great interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills

● Love being in front of the camera

● Experience with digital and in-person event planning

● Sound understanding of Discord is a plus

● Love interacting with people

● Managed or led clubs, events, etc. in your college or in general

● Proactive and contributive; take initiative and follow-through reliably
