Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Support the Strategy & Insights team in value-added, data-driven insights across a number of analytical capabilities
  • Pricing Analysis 
  • Financial modelling
  • Risk / Reward Analysis
  • Data Manipulation
• Track KPIs / commercial success of initiatives, feedback to stakeholders, and incorporate learnings into future strategies
• Support opportunities to optimize and automate activities and processes
• Support documentation of proposals and analysis, through to sign-off
• Support External reviews eg Audit, Peer reviews
• Ensure Adherence to Model Risk Management Standards
• Share and import learning and best practices from around Barclays and DASA
• Ensure alignment of priorities against the Business Payments Game Plan 

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in any discipline
• Experience in value-based customer management, decision systems/technology, and data analysis
• Technical skills, with the need to have had experience in using SAS / SQL and large data sets
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with strong Excel Skills
• Experience in using large data sets from various sources
• Good communication skills, which will involve an explanation of outputs created that will need to be communicated to the internal team as well as internal stakeholders. 
• Ability to analyze data that will help impact business strategies that will help grow the P&L
• Expresses a strong desire to improve on analytical techniques as well as improving knowledge of available applications on the market

Skills:

• Strong presentation skills (both oral and written)
• Ability to lead analytical insight understand business problems and offer various options 
• Experience in the use of predictive modeling or forecasting
• Use of other applications such as Python and/or Tableau
