Collections Specialist (US Shift) Job in Hyderabad at S&P Global Inc.

S&P Global is hiring for the role of Collections Specialist (US Shift)!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Follow up with clients over calls and emails for payment of overdue invoices as the primary responsibility of a debt collector.
• Enforce policies and procedures related to payment, cancellation, and suspension/termination of customer services.
• Take accountability for all customer disputes, ensuring ownership through to resolution.
• Ensure that all activities are conducted by internal controls and published processes.
• Conduct Sales Ledger account reconciliations as needed.
• Respond promptly and thoroughly to both customer and internal inquiries.
• Escalate debt issues to account managers and line managers.
• Collaborate with order management, customer service/client relations, cash applications, and sales management teams to resolve customer queries and disputes promptly.
• Provide general customer service related to customer refunds, payment forms, payment discrepancies, tax forms/procedures, payment histories, statements of account, etc.
• Note and report customer status through account reviews, account notes, and meetings with various business stakeholders.
• Assist in maintaining customer contact information.
• Perform other related tasks as required.
• Contribute to mutual support and knowledge sharing within the global Credit and Collections team.

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of experience in a B2B collections environment
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to excellent customer service
• Strong attention to detail, goal-oriented
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office Suite including Excel a plus
• Knowledge of SAP, Salesforce, or HighRadius in the AR environment is a great bonus.
