Collection Manager Job in Ahmednagar at Tata Capital

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute monthly strategies to achieve collection targets (buckets 30+, 60+, 90+).
• Manage and monitor agency / in-house field collection teams and tele-calling executives.
• Review and control delinquency, NPA, write-offs, and recovery portfolios.
• Conduct regular follow-ups with high-risk and chronic delinquent customers.
• Ensure timely allocation of cases to collection teams and agencies.
• Coordinate legal recovery actions such as Section 138, SARFAESI, arbitration, repossession, etc. (as applicable to product).
• Maintain MIS reports on collection performance and provide dashboards to management.
• Ensure compliance with RBI & organizational guidelines on fair collection practices.
• Handle customer escalations and maintain customer satisfaction during recovery.
• Conduct training for collection officers / partners on process, communication, and guidelines.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
• Good understanding of delinquency management & risk assessment.
• Ability to manage field teams, agencies & tele-calling operations.
• Knowledge of legal collection processes and compliance norms.
• Analytical skills with ability to interpret MIS & portfolio trends.
• Proficient in Excel & collection management tools.
