Collection Manager Job in Chennai at InCred

InCred is hiring for the role of Collection Manager!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Implement collection policies and procedures to avoid excessive outstanding credit and ensure timely payments.
• Coordinate and operate different teams to achieve collection targets and goals.
• Work closely with executives and delivery teams to meet client expectations and provide a solid foundation for the role.
• Prepare monthly and weekly MIS reports on payment collections.
• Assist in resolving disputed cases and provide legal opinions to help close cases.
• Ensure company policies for recoveries are followed in line with state and federal regulations.
• Create and implement strategies to improve the collection of outstanding credit.
• Negotiate with customers in cases of non-payment occurrences.
• Assist the sales team in official and legal letter writing to customers.
• Provide proactive feedback to clients for improvement processes and create an all-around positive experience.
• Set payment collection goals and targets for the department.

Requirements:

• 3 to 7 years of experience in B2B sales, collections, and credit control operations
• Ability to work under difficult timelines and work independently with accuracy
• Excellent coordination skills to manage different teams
• Willingness to travel for field-related work and meet customers at various locations and client offices across India
• Strong analytical skills to manage and analyze data and create reports
• Familiarity with customer relationship and FCPA guidelines
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
