Syngenta is hiring for the role of Cloud Transformation Lead!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Create, drive, deliver a cross-platform roadmap, technology, and supplier strategy in collaboration with the platform leads, leadership team and subject matter experts. This rolling and constantly updated view will be critical to our team and our stakeholders
• Accountable for implementing a robust and optimized cloud solution
• Ensure all platforms are delivering with pace by owning and driving the delivery plans, risk/issue logs and supplier relationships. Timely and successful delivery is a key success factor for the role
• Inject your experience to constructively disrupt the status quo of “how things are being done here.” Inspire and lead teams to implement automation, CI/CD pipelines and native cloud technology.
• Drive a positive and close working relationship with Syngenta’s IT teams, key collaborators, and outsourcing partners. Pro-actively communicate and engage with the CP and IT communities as a visible ambassador of IT, Digital and Scientific Data Exploitation.

Requirements:

• Post-graduate degrees in a STEM discipline
• Mindset of Agile change delivery and steady state operations (e.g., DevOps, SaFE, SRE)
• Courage to act and challenge the status quo.
• Promotes Diversity of Thinking and Experimentation
• Exhibits situational leadership and can seamlessly transition from a coach style to directive
• Fluency in English, additional languages beneficial
