CloudThat is hiring for the role of Cloud Support Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Troubleshoot and resolve client issues related to cloud infrastructure, applications, and deployments.
• Manage IT service management (ITSM) processes to ensure efficient incident, problem, and change management.
• Utilize monitoring tools to identify and address issues, optimize performance, and ensure high availability of client cloud environments.
• Proactively identify and address potential issues within client cloud environments before they impact operations.
• Consistently meet and exceed SLAs (Service Level Agreements) by promptly addressing incidents, fulfilling service requests, and meeting performance metrics.
• Automate routine tasks and processes using scripting languages.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and knowledge base articles.
• Escalate complex issues to senior engineers.
• Collaborate with the sales and account management teams to understand client needs.
• Stay up to date on the latest Cloud and DevOps technologies.
• Participate in on-call rotation and provide off-hours support as needed.
• Demonstrate relentless learning by continuously enhancing skills and knowledge through self-directed learning, training programs, and certifications related to AWS, Azure, ITSM, and cloud technologies.
• Willing and adaptable to work in various shifts as required.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in providing technical support for cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or similar cloud platforms.
• Proven experience with ITSM and ticketing management tools (e.g., FreshService, ServiceNow, Jira).
• Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Site24x7, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure concepts (e.g., compute, storage, networking, cost & security).
• Familiarity with DevOps principles and methodologies.
• Proficiency in Linux commands and shell scripting for system administration tasks, automation, and troubleshooting in cloud environments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate (AWS SAA-C03) or Microsoft Azure Architect Associate (AZ-104) Certification.
• Experience with DevOps Tools & Technologies (Git, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD Tools, Terraform).
• Experience with ITSM and Monitoring Tools (FreshService, ServiceNow, Site24x7, Datadog).
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) is a plus.
