Enphase Energy is hiring for the role of Cloud QA Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Own the complete quality ownership of the system under test
• Able to design test cases that are of high quality which helps improve the quality of the system
• Help the team to design good test cases, review their work, and provide feedback
• Design test frameworks for different layers of the application
• Add automated tests on web services, database, and UI layers
• Be the gatekeeper on the quality of the product
• Define, write, and execute non-functional tests and analyze results
• Debug issues and assist developers in designing the best software product
• Drive quality metrics on the system under test and be responsible for its quality
• Analyze tests, monitor progress, and report to management on the system's quality on a day-to-day basis
• Improve test case designs, negative tests, repeatability tests, data validation, and perform impact and risk-based testing

Requirements:

• Able to work in an agile environment, focusing on early market delivery without compromising quality
• Experience with continuous development and continuous testing practices
• BE/BTech in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of experience in software development/testing
• 2+ years of experience testing high-scale applications with distributed architecture
• Excellent programming skills and ability to debug issues at the code level; development experience is an added advantage
• Experience in negative testing
• Provide innovative solutions to deliver quality in a fast-paced development organization
• Strong understanding of cloud technologies, databases, and performance tradeoffs
• Go-getter attitude and capable of tackling tough engineering challenges to find solutions
• Lean/Agile mindset
• Proactive and results-oriented
• Team player/builder with a "can-do" attitude
• Experience in providing estimates, planning, and commitment to deliverables
• Experience in software testing of cloud and digital software is a plus
• Knowledge of data analytics and machine learning is a plus
