Next Power is hiring for the role of Cloud Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Design, implement, and manage secure, scalable cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Develop and maintain cloud security architecture, including Identity and Access Management (IAM).
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate provisioning and configuration of cloud infrastructure.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate code integration, testing, and deployment.
• Use automation tools to improve the reliability, efficiency, and consistency of software delivery.
• Configure and manage infrastructure using configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Monitor cloud environments for security risks, vulnerabilities, and policy violations.
• Analyze logs, respond to security incidents, and perform root-cause analysis.
• Conduct threat modeling, simulations, and penetration testing to identify and mitigate risks.
• Manage encryption and cryptography for data at rest and in transit.
• Ensure cloud governance, including data privacy, risk management, compliance, and data lifecycle management.
• Design and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Optimize cloud cost management and resource utilization.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements :

• Extensive knowledge of cloud computing concepts, architectures, and industry trends.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong understanding of application architecture, orchestration, virtualization, and cloud security protocols.
• Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools.
• Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS).
• Expertise in cloud security best practices, including encryption, access control, and identity management.
