Zebra Technologies is hiring for the role of Cloud Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Install, configure, deploy, & maintain Zebra applications on the cloud platform.
• Propose changes related to cost optimization.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in Nonproduction and production environments.
• Take a backup of the application and restore it when required.
• Apply Patch and fix vulnerability issues with the application.
• Coordinate with various teams to gather information and implement changes.
• Actively respond to alerts and participate in outage calls.
• Assist internal and external customers with software deployments and upgrades.
• Automate existing processes and steps using cloud technologies.
• Participate in weekend and off-hours maintenance.
• Provide on-call support during off-hours and weekends.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience in Google Cloud Native Technologies.
• At least 1 year of experience in middleware technologies like Tomcat and Apache or any other application server and web server technologies.
• At least 2 years of experience in managing applications on the Linux operating system.
• At least 2 years of experience in Jenkins, Ansible, and shell scripts.
• Must have knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Basic knowledge of at least a couple of databases, such as MySQL, DB2, Oracle, and Mongo.
• Knowledge about any monitoring tool.
• Knowledge about any performance monitoring tool would be an added advantage.
• Good to have knowledge of IBM Cognos.
• Strong written, communication, and oral skills.
