London Stock Exchange Group is hiring for the role of Cloud Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Design and develop cloud architectures and templates for effective data science solutions for various use cases to deliver value to the organization.
• Understand the cloud infrastructure of the organization and collaborate with Cloud operations teams to handle the cloud.
• Collaborating with the Data Science team to help them set up the cloud service and design the workflow for the deployment of the services.
• Design the workflow for automation of the application using cloud services.
• Hands-on experience in the AWS and Azure cloud with capabilities in the VPC network.
• Set up servers and handle the proxies needed to access the services.
• Secure new data sources, pipelines, and capabilities for the team in anticipation of current and future demand from operations to meet/develop GSOs and DSOs.

Requirements:

• Experience as a cloud engineering professional
• Hands-on experience in Python scripting at an intermediate level
• Hands-on experience in AWS IAM roles and provisioning cloud services
• Experience in versioning control tools like GitLab
• Experience in setting up CI/CD pipelines and also worked with docker containers
• Good understanding of hosting applications in servers using ALB and Route 53Strong understanding of Python programming concepts and best practice
• Strong experience with Linux
• Extensive experience in setting up and maintaining an AWS cloud computing environment for computing, storage, deployment, visualizations, and various automation
• Industry-relevant certifications in AWS cloud services
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
