About this Job
Siemens is hiring for the role of Cloud Engineer!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Be part of an international data analytics team with diverse backgrounds, utilizing state-of-art data analytics methods to accelerate Siemens internal digitalization
- Drive and scale the automation and integration initiatives
- Interact regularly with other data teams across Siemens to collaborate on data modelling and data warehousing challenges
- Understand cloud-native technologies and platforms
Requirements:
- A university degree in IT, Engineering, Economics or related
- Experience with data engineering and data warehousing
- You understand data ingest frameworks and are familiar with tools such as Talend, Knime, and Alteryx
- Expert programming skills in SQL and preferably Python
- Familiar with agile working methods
- Working with major Cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure) and associated warehouses and tools (Snowflake, DBT)
- Very good command of English
- German is a plus
