Qualcomm is hiring for the role of Cloud AI Platform Senior Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Strong Machine Learning Fundamentals: A deep understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and data preprocessing.
• Designing and Developing ML Systems: You'll implement and remodel machine learning models and algorithms, ensuring they align with project objectives. Algorithm Prototypes: Build AI algorithm prototypes based on project specifications.
• AI Apps: Support internal teams and customers by providing interfaces and apps to service new features.
• Performance Assessment: Run tests to evaluate AI performance, analyzing data to identify strengths and weaknesses.
• Model Evaluation: Familiarity with metrics like accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score to assess model effectiveness.
• Deployment and Scalability: Knowledge of deploying ML models in production environments and handling scalability challenges.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
• Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
• PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.
• 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
• Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.
• PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• Master's Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field. 
• 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. 
• 2+ years of experience with Database Management Software.   
• 2+ years of experience with API.
• 1+ year of work experience with Git, Perforce, or Source Code Management System
• Experience in Secure Coding , software design and implementation levels.
• Strong OS fundamentals. Linux and kernel development a strong plus
• Experience with ARM architecture is added advantage.
• Experience in BSP development.
• Experience with low level device driver programming, boot code development
• Familiar with Modern OO design practices, such as C++11/17, a plus
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and team player
• Should be self motivated and self driven
