Clean Energy Procurement Analyst Job in Gurgaon at S&P Global Inc.

S&P Global is hiring for the role of Clean Energy Procurement Analyst!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Harnessing existing data sets, identifying new data sets for collection and analysis across different energy markets, and conducting rigorous reviews of the quality of that information.
• Creating charts, graphs, and other visual content that illustrates the trends and helps our customers make better-informed decisions.
• Delivering succinct, high-quality, and insightful written content.
• Articulating expertise and thought leadership through a variety of media including internal meetings, podcasts, webinars, conferences, and forum speaking engagements.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in clean power and/or environmental markets. Additional experience in other markets, e.g., carbon, would be advantageous.
• Excellent teamwork skills. Ability to work effectively in teams of different nationalities, with different fields of expertise, across time zones, etc.
• Excellent communication skills which include a concise written style, and good verbal skills. The ability to communicate across a wide range of groups and personalities internally and externally. Work is primarily conducted in English, but command of other languages would be beneficial.
• Willingness and ability to anticipate and respond to customer needs and market changes.
• Ability to provide insightful analysis of the market in compelling and straightforward content.
• Strong customer mindset with demonstrated ability to engage directly and honestly with customers on all issues and deliver positive experiences by creating a partnership mentality.
• Proficient in identifying, gathering, and analyzing information to solve problems effectively. Ability to recognize trends provide recommendations and develop logical conclusions.
• Knowledge of mathematical, statistical, and modeling concepts and research methods would be beneficial
• Experience with Excel, SQL, BI Tool, or Python would be useful.
