Cyient is hiring for the position of Civil Structural Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Conduct structural analysis to evaluate the integrity, stability, and safety of existing structures or proposed designs
• Develop structural designs for various civil engineering projects such as buildings, bridges, pipelines, or industrial structures
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, contractors, and other engineers to define project goals, requirements, and timelines
• Create project plans and schedules for structural engineering task
• Prepare technical reports, engineering drawings, and documentation to communicate design specifications, calculations, and recommendations
• Maintain comprehensive records of project-related information
• Ensure that all structural designs and construction activities comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards

Requirements:

• Educational Background must be M.Tech or B.Tech degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Structural Engineering
• Strong understanding of civil engineering concepts, including structural analysis principles and design methodologies
• Proficiency in using structural analysis software and computer-aided design (CAD) tools.
• Sound knowledge of relevant codes and standards
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve structural engineering challenges
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders
• Detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy in calculations and drawings
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with project management principles and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• A passion for continuous learning and professional development in the field of structural engineering
• Strong academic record with good grades in relevant coursework
• Completion of a final year project focused on structural Analysis
