Civil Design Draftsman Job in Chennai at Larsen & Toubro

Larsen & Toubro is hiring for the role of Civil Design Draftsman! 

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Receive specifications and single-line diagrams from the design engineers team
• Check detailing feasibility after receiving the design line diagram
• Prepare GA drawings using AUTOCAD or BOCAD
• Prepare SHOP drawings and Bill of Materials (BOM)
• Check and finalize General Arrangement Drawing and SHOP drawing
• Release GA and SHOP floor drawings for prototype assembly
• Resolve issues related to prototype deviations during assembly
• Release finalized drawings to the factory for mass production

Requirements:

• Proficient in drawing preparation
• Knowledge of different types of towers, tower parts, insulators, and accessories
• Familiarity with stubs and stub setting templates used for casting
• Understanding of trigonometry principles
• Diploma or ITI in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 2 years of experience in tower detailing
• Preferably 3 years of experience with BOCAD Tower software
