Lenskart is hiring for the role of Chinese Translator!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Document Translation:
  • Translate technical manuals, standard operating procedures (SOPs), product specifications, and safety guidelines from Chinese to English and vice versa
  • Ensure translated documents maintain the original meaning and context
• Verbal Interpretation:
  • Provide consecutive and simultaneous interpretation during meetings, conferences, training sessions, and phone calls
  • Facilitate clear and accurate communication between Chinese-speaking employees and non-Chinese-speaking management or colleagues
• Cultural Mediation:
  • Act as a cultural liaison to help bridge cultural differences and promote a harmonious work environment
  • Provide insights into Chinese business practices and etiquette
• Administrative Support:
  • Translate emails, memos, and other internal communications
  • Assist with any other administrative tasks requiring translation or interpretation

Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in translation
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong interpersonal and intercultural communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and translation software/tools
