Chief Manager - Cost Excellence Job in Gurgaon at Sterlite Power

• Review project drawings, specifications, BOQs, and other contract documents to prepare an accurate and comprehensive workable budget and cost control plan.
• Review project schedules to prepare an accurate cash flow and cash flow control plan.
• Ensure communication with project, procurement, engineering, and finance functions during the preparation of detailed budgets.
• Monitor regularly the detailed budget and cash flow with reference to construction progress and forecast schedule.
• Prepare cost trending and forecasting analysis for project cost, cash flow intensity, and 3-month rolling cash flow plans, communicating these to all related parties, highlighting concerns and recommendations for necessary measures, actions, and methods.
• Prepare monthly reports and reviews of project cost performance, providing regular feedback and advice to all concerned parties.
• Participate in meetings to review project progress and current cost positions.
• Support commercial personnel in the preparation and settlement of Extra claims from contractors (Developer works) and clients (EPC works).
• Collaborate with IT analysts/Systems managers to drive automation and design new reports/processes that lead to simplification and enhanced business planning.
• Leverage industry best practices and continuous improvements to continually enhance cost management/control processes.

Requirements:

• Good experience in Cost Control and project control
• Proficiency in Financial Modeling
• B.Tech or MBA in Finance
