Eli Lilly & Company is hiring for the role of ChatBot Developer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Partner with Lilly business-facing IT teams developing new business applications based on the modern stack as well as modernizing existing applications.
• Build Enterprise grade chatbots and apps
• Create reusable design patterns and code modules to support the consistent and productive implementation of modern technologies into Lilly’s custom-developed apps.
• Research and engage in Proof-Of-Concept (POC) activities related to technologies new to Lilly’s portfolio.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+ and NodeJS)
• Understanding of asynchronous request handling, promises, and async-await
• Experience in building Enterprise Chatbots using the Kore.ai Conversational AI Platform.
• Hands-on knowledge of the Azure cloud platform
• Experience with Express.js backend framework
• Hands-on experience developing web apps with ReactJS.
• Understanding of HTML5 and CSS3
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Mocha/Jest
• Experience with databases (DDL, DML, Queries, Joins, Stored Procedures, etc)
• Experience working with GitHub and understanding of branching strategies.
• Experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment processes using GitHub Actions
• Knowledge of 12-Factor Application Development Methodology
• Working knowledge of secure coding principles and application security vulnerabilities

In addition to JavaScript-based development, additional desirable skills include experience with:

• Willingness to learn new programming languages and technology as required.
• Authentication/Identity concepts such as OAuth flows and OpenID Connect
• Experience with SharePoint and Teams development.
