CES Engineer Job in Bangalore at Applied Materials Pvt. Ltd.

Applied Materials Pvt. Ltd. is hiring for the role of CES Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Design mechanical/electrical solutions to meet customer non-standard requirements
• Create fully dimensioned 2D drawings for new part releases
• Apply GD&T principles to designs
• Release OEM components for integration into new CES designs
• Collaborate with Business Management to ensure accurate communication of customer requests
• Provide system BOMs for unreleased product configurations
• Develop OMSs and Test Procedures for manufacturing and outsourced suppliers
• Construct 3D models to verify the integration of new CES designs
• Validate first-time builds and address manufacturing issues related to CES content
• Collaborate with various teams to ensure successful implementation of CES projects
• Coordinate with buyers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of new design parts
• Liaise with outsourced suppliers to guarantee the correct delivery of new designs
• Partner with GDC engineers to implement CESs and ECOs effectively
• Respond to SPSs
• Perform special duties assigned as per project requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Electrical Engineering
• 3-5 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of engineering change order process, DFx principles, and product safety requirements
• Proven ability to provide training and mentorship
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing Principles
• Strong skills in change management, problem-solving, communication, product technology, project management, teamwork, and attention to detail
• Proficient in SAP, Core Plus, MS Outlook, Word, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, CAD, and Teamcenter
• Fluency in English
